When the pump starts, the stored liquid in the chamber, under the action of the impeller, carries air upward. The liquid flows back to the working chamber through the grid of the gas-liquid separation tube, while the gas is expelled from the pump. This process creates a certain vacuum inside the pump, achieving self-priming operation.
